Fall ’24/Spring ’25 build programme

It’s been a busy, satisfying season of wheel building at MHW.

These wheels represent a comprehensive variety of applications: road, MTB, TT, adventure/gravel, and utility. The quality of the components such as hubs, rims, and spokes is uniformly high: ONYX, Chris King, I9, Hope, DT SWISS (mostly 180’s and 350’s), SHIMANO Alphine (11 sp.), SAPIM (CX-Ray, Race DB, and Strong for the most part), RESERVE, ASTRAL, and others. Lacing includes 1X, 2X, and 3X, and typically ranging from 24 to 32 spokes in each wheel); methods of attachment included both through-axle (mostly 12 mm dia. front and rear) and QR; both new builds and re-builds. The re-builds comprised mostly of utilizing existing hubs with new rims and spokes to improve operational performance capability and/or durability and thus reliabilty in all applications, but at lower cost than a new build.
