Rebuilt wheels for a mobile bike mechanic’s trailer

This was a particularly satisfying rebuild. Not only was it helping a dedicated rider, it was helping hundreds of riders who count on my client’s services. You see in this case, the client is a mobile bike mechanic. There aren’t enough of these unsung heroes and their gear takes a beating. When they aren’t mobile, they suffer, as do their many customers.

These wheels are from the trailer this bike mechanic towed from job to job. The original hubs and bearings are good quality, but the OEM rims and spokes were dreadfully poor quality. The re-built wheels depicted here have proven way more durable than the originals.
